Для этого используются не только новейшие технологии, но и весьма традиционные формы поддержания общности, такие, как религия. Одной из разновидностей подобных практик является так называемая гражданская религия, теоретические подходы к которой сформировались в США в 60-х годах XX столетия. Теория гражданской религии имеет продолжительную историю. К этому понятию обращались – и обращаются – исследователи в разных странах мира, давая ему различные трактовки и наполняя своим содержанием. Однако истоки теории лежат в работах Ж.Ж. Руссо и Э. Дюркгейма, которые одними из первых в мировой политической науке обратились к нормативному анализу взаимодействия государства и верований отдельных индивидов. Целью данной статьи является изучение и анализ эволюции концепций «гражданской религии»; выделение этапов развития и изучения теории гражданской религии во второй половине ХХ – начале ХХI веков как в отечественной, так и в зарубежной науке. В данном исследовании были использованы методы историко-политического системного анализа, компаративного, содержательного контентанализа и интерпретации; метод систематизации и классификации. Основным структурообразующим принципом стал проблемно-хронологический метод. Авторы исследования пришли к выводу, что своеобразное второе рождение концепция гражданской религии получила благодаря трудам американского ученого Р. Беллы, которые спровоцировали широкую общественную дискуссию. Конкретные проявления этой религии с помощью количественных методов выявили Р. Уимберли, Р. Вусноу, Д. Вули и Ф. Горски. В этих работах продемонстрированы такие аспекты гражданской религии, как представления о месте США в мире, о происхождении и назначении американских федеральных институтов власти, об эпистемологических возможностях познания Бога через лояльность к государству, о сакральности основных символов США, в том числе государственного флага. В России проблемами американской гражданской религии занимались защитившие диссертации по данной теме В.Р. Легойда и И.Е. Задорожнюк. Ряд других авторов обратились к теме использования гражданской религии различными группами интересов в США, а также к проблемам идеологических и историко-географических расколов в американском обществе. Несмотря на это, американская гражданская религия по-прежнему успешно выполняет интегрирующую функцию в обществе, ограждает общественно-политический дискурс от идеологических крайностей. Этим обусловлена важность гражданской религии для американского государства и необходимость ее дальнейшего изучения.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The theory of civil religion has a long history of existence; researchers around the world explored this concept, with different interpretations giving it a varied content. The purpose of this article is to study and analyze the concept of "civil religion" in the current academic discourse. In this study, we used the methods of historical and political systems analysis, comparative, meaningful content analysis and interpretation; systematization and classification method. The main structureforming principle was the problem-chronological method. The article is divided into three sections. Firstly, we present the analysis of the writings of Rousseau and Durkheim that are considered to be milestones of the theory. The study found that the presentation of Rousseau's civil religion has become an important component of the ideology of the United States, necessary for the state and meets the goals and objectives of the State. Secondly, we take into account the most prominent works of current Western and Russian scholars. This allows us to trace back the allocation of the stages of development of the theory of US civil religion in the second half of the XX – XXI centuries. To conclude, the article presents assessments of recent trends in studying the civil religion in the USA. We address the ongoing impact of civil religion on cleavages in American society as well as the usage of CR elements by different types of political actors. Finally, we discuss the prospects for study and what the challenges that researchers face. V.R.Legoida, E.I.Zadorozhniuk elaborated the problems of the American civil religion in their thesis in Russia. In addition, some aspects related to the essence of the American civil religion, its values and ideals are presented in the papers of A.N.Tsarevskii. R.T.Saduov, E.V.Kubyshkina, and others.
